Windsor Student of the Month is Elisabetta Kerr. Elisabetta is currently a Yellow Belt working toward her first Green Stripe. She has not been with us long, but has show the attributes for the journey to Black Belt. Great work!
Student of the Month in Lakeshore
Our Student of the Month in Lakeshore is BBC member Christian Holmes. Christian first started with our school many years ago. He trained for several months and then moved on to other things. Late last summer Christian decided he wished to return to our school and has been very serious about hi study to Black Black. We are looking forward to some great things from this young man!
Student of the Month in St Clair Beach
The Student of the Month in St Clair Beach is Joey Guenette. Joey is enjoying his classes as a Red Belt. His committment to improving his martial arts techniques has been outstanding. Keep up the great work!
Black Belt Extravaganza 2008
May is here, the applications for Black Belt are in and being processed and it is just about time to go! This years BBX will be bigger and better than ever. With special guests Grand Master Steve Stewart and Master Chad Barry, it is going to be a very exciting time!
Novice Kyusho Certification available for Coloured Belts.

Kyusho Jitsu Pre College
On Friday May 30th from 7:30 until 8:45 Master Mason will be holding a Kyusho Pre-College in Windsor for those adult students wishing to learn more about the art of Kyusho Jitsu. Please sign up at the Windsor School, or via email to Master Mason.
Open House
The Peaceful Warriors' will be holding an open house at the Windsor School on Saturday June 7th starting at 9:00am and running until 3:00pm. This event will be open to all school members as well as the general public. More information will be sent out to students as the date comes closer.
Self Defense Workshop.
On Sunday May 4th at 2:00pm Art Mason' Peaceful Warriors' will be holding a FREE public self defense workshop. You can still register for this event. A flyer may be download here.
Our Website
Many of our students are now members of our online website community. It has proven to be a great tool for students to communicate with each other, in a safe and wholesome environment. I am hoping this membership will expand and grow. It is a great place for students to chat with other students, ask questions, read about the arts and keep up with current events in our school. Membership is totally FREE for all students and parents.
Something new on our website is the Classified Ads section. Parents have asked me over the years about us possibly selling 'used' equipment or helping them do so. Now being a business, we as a school are bound by the Ontario Sales Tax act and the laws that go with it. In fact, we only sell equipment and uniforms to our members, not the general public! With that in mind, parents and student may now 'post' article for sale on our website. This works just like it does with online newspapers, except it is totally free. You can even include a picture!

Victoria Day Holiday
Just a reminder that the Victoria Day Holiday Weekend is fast approaching. Our school will be closed on Saturday May 17th and Monday May 19th in observance of this holiday. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday May 20th.
Annual School Camping
Our annual school camping trip to Rondeau Park is scheduled Friday July 18th to Sunday July 20th. Reservations may be made on the phone by calling Rondeau Park or by visiting their WEBSITE.
Buddy Day
We will be holding a Buddy Day in Windsor on Friday May 9th at 6:00pm. This is open to all belt levels. More information will be given to each student by his or her instructor.
Parent's Night Out.
We have a Parents Night Out scheduled for Saturday May 24th starting at 5:00pm and running until 7:30 pm. This is a fun event for all the children involved a great chance for the parents to get away for a few hours. More details will be coming soon!
Changes to the Coloured Belt System
Starting at testing in May we are making some changes to our Coloured Belt System. The changes are very straight forward and easy to understand. They will make all belt testing much more exciting. It will also help to motivate our younger students For the exact details on how the new system will work please visit our Student Website.
